Awakened Journeys (Retreats) was founded by Michal Vasilko – also known as Satori – filmmaker, visionary, conscious traveler, and spiritual seeker whose personal path of self-discovery and transformation has led him through sacred lands across the world.

As a filmmaker and explorer, he traveled and worked in countries like Guatemala, Peru, New Zealand, Costa Rica, and Sardinia, where he deeply connected with the Earth’s energetic power spots and ancient wisdom.

In recent years, Michal has embarked on a profound healing journey, embracing a wide spectrum of transformational modalities such as Kriya Yoga, Hatha Yoga, breathwork, chakra calibrations, Kundalini activations (KAP), as well as mindful meditation practices (Zazen), ThetaHealing®, SRT (Spiritual Response Therapy), and DNA recalibration.

His path also led him to experience with indigenous shamans (Peru, Guatemala) and sacred plant medicines, deepening his connection to the primordial forces of nature - earth, water, fire, air, and spirit. These deep initiations became the foundation for Awakened Journeys - a project rooted in the vision of helping others awaken their true potential and return to a life of purpose, clarity, and soulful alignment.

During two transformative years living in Polynesia, he formed a powerful connection with the spirit of the islands, the ocean, and the frequencies of whales and dolphins - sentient beings whose peaceful and loving energy now pulses at the heart of our sacred retreats on Moorea Island.
